「S.H.E移動城堡世界巡迴演唱會」才告一段落，S.H.E就馬不停蹄的投入新專輯的配唱行程。距離上張新專輯「不想長大」1年多了，所以歌迷都在問新專輯曲風會怎樣呢？S.H.E說「沒別的，就是和兩岸的音樂人玩音樂玩瘋了，有很多以前沒嘗試過的新創意！」

由於是S.H.E邁入樂壇的第十張專輯，華研音樂不敢怠慢，網羅海內外、網路、知名音樂人、及新銳創作人，搜刮各種各樣不同風格、不同類型的音樂作品，就是希望S.H.E這張新專輯能帶給大家全新的感覺。整個製作期活生生被拉長到近一年，唱片公司更製作預算無上限的收歌、編曲、錄音，前前後後S.H.E錄了近20首歌﹗連S.H.E都說：「天啊！我們這次因為收到太多有趣又好玩的音樂，再加上我們自己的創作，一邊收歌一邊配唱，到後來才發現我們已經唱了不下20首歌，不但破了我們前9張專輯的記錄，重要的是還不知道怎麼取捨好﹗」最後只好割捨掉約莫一半的好歌，才完成成這一張充滿驚喜的「PLAY」。

專輯取名為「PLAY」其實有兩個意涵。一就是「玩音樂」，因為這次S.H.E與兩岸音樂人玩出全新音樂風，充份地發揮了「玩樂」精神。另外就是「放音樂」，也就是大家最熟悉的收音機上面的「PLAY」鍵，希望大家按下PLAY 鍵，不斷讓音樂PLAY下去，支持正版，讓S.H.E的音樂繼續播放。首波主打歌「中國話」就創意無限，將中國傳統的繞口令與西洋嘻哈音樂融合在一起，製造音樂上的驚喜。除了「中國話」之外，也有幾首新歌是採用「五月天」、「與袁惟仁彈吉他」這樣結合了人名的歌名，令人一聽就覺得好玩。

最特別的是，S.H.E這次也在專輯中獻出她們的創作處女作，由Ella譜曲、Selina填詞的「老婆」是描述S.H.E比姊妹還深的情誼，錄音時三人都唱到感動落淚！「說你愛我」則是Hebe填詞的作品，一字未改，令Hebe也感到驚訝和開心。全新專輯「PLAY」，4月25日開始預購，5月11日全亞洲同步發行!!!

PLAY音樂第一招： 混血中國繞口令及西洋RAP
「中國話」中西合壁 玩出嶄新中國風

秉持著音樂就是要好玩的信念，S.H.E這張「PLAY」可說是把「玩樂」精神發揮到極致，第一波主打「中國話」MV一出場，歌迷就對這首混血中國繞口令與西洋RAP的新品種曲風感到十分驚艷﹗「中國話」這首歌由大陸新銳創作人鄭楠譜曲填詞，並由S.H.E御用王牌作詞人施人誠畫龍點睛，造就了這首S.H.E第十張專輯的新經典首波主打。

其實中國風的歌曲已非S.H.E第一次嘗試，但是這次「中國話」最不一樣的地方就是首創把華人世界最雅俗共賞的繞口令融入嘻哈風中，用RAP的方式來「唸唱」，而且最難的是這些繞口令的部份，S.H.E仍然設計了合聲的表現！S.H.E直說：「玩音樂就要玩出新感覺！」。

「中國話」的歌詞內容主要描述，現在全世界正掀起一片中國熱！因為目前全球估計至少有3000萬非華裔人士在學中國話，歐美更有些學校已經將中國話列入必修外國語，因此作者有感而發的寫出這首「中國話」。

擔任「中國話」這首歌的配唱製作人便是當年在「十面埋伏」中獻聲的名音樂人J.WU，這次接下了這個超新鮮的嘻哈繞口令配唱的新任務，J.WU老師可是花了不少時間研究如何把這古典的文化融入新元素。但是配唱時候卻出乎意料地順利，尤其對SELINA的“舌功”大為讚賞：「SELINA口條清晰，頭腦聰明的優點眾所皆知，但是最可怕的是，這次唸起古老的繞口令，她句句不NG，而且三人之中她唸起來最有自己的特色，鏗鏘有力， ELLA和HEBE偶爾還會突錘，實在太強了!」SELINA自豪地說：「現在年輕人流行饒舌！但其實中國人很早就開始RAP囉！繞口令才是嘻哈的始祖呢！」HEBE也透露：「因為專輯叫『PLAY』，所以我們在音樂上也玩得瘋！我們這一次就特地把繞口令與流行歌曲結合，希望可以引起一股新的潮流！不過這幾段繞口令可折磨死我們了！錄音的第一晚我們3個人都在練，舌頭都快打結了！不過現在我們可厲害了！歡迎大家來挑戰喔！」

PLAY音樂第二招：團名變歌名 S.H.E甜蜜吟唱五月天

將繞口令和RAP混血後，S.H.E繼續「PLAY」，專輯第一首抒情主打居然叫「五月天」﹗「五月天」不是團名嗎？！這回居然也變成歌名了！

「五月天」這首歌的歌詞是由在網路發表原創歌詞的陳震所寫，再交由「中國話」的作曲者鄭楠譜曲。華研製作團隊無意間在網路發現這首歌詞的時候就被歌名「五月天」所吸引。原因無它，就是這首詞的歌名就是引用至大名鼎鼎的五月天的團名，連S.H.E初看到這歌詞的時候也不禁嚇了一跳：「沒想到我們和五月天第一次音樂上的合作竟是這麼有趣的連接﹗害我們也開始在期待下一張專輯有一首歌叫S.H.E﹗哈哈﹗」

「五月天」這首歌描述一段愛情的誕生，就像是在五月天很舒服的溫度及天氣一樣，讓人沉醉在濃濃的幸福氛圍裡頭。歌詞特別請來幫S.H.E寫過「戀人未滿」和「觸電」等經典甜蜜情歌的名作詞人施人誠潤飾一番，使這首情歌更動人。巧合的是，如果「戀人未滿」代表了還沒跨出友情的暗戀，「觸電」就是延續了彼此之間的曖昧情愫，但是始終只是“觸電”，還沒有“爆炸”﹗而這段戀情在「五月天」這首歌裡面，終於有了明朗的發展，愛情就真的誕生啦﹗「五月的天，剛誕生的夏天，我們之間，才完成的愛戀…」在S.H.E越來越精湛的和聲下，讓人不禁都掉入浪漫的戀愛氛圍裡。S.H.E在錄音室邊唱邊想起她們談戀愛時甜蜜的樣子，尤其這首歌更是ELLA整張專輯最喜歡的歌：「在我們這張「PLAY」這張專輯內，我嘗試很多不一樣風格的饒舌，五月天這首歌是我唱RAP唱得最舒服最輕柔的一次，而且我腦海裡一直反復play我戀愛時的畫面，雞皮疙瘩都起來了﹗」Hebe則推崇配唱兼和聲編寫老師-黃怡的用心：「這首歌的和聲是我們唱過這麼多首歌最新鮮的一次。因為寶哥很懂我們三個人的音色與特質，所以特別在副歌部份，讓我們嘗試了疊音式的和聲，其實有一點跟「愛呢」這首歌的和聲有一點相似，但是我們三人的聲音經過時間的錘煉，已經比「愛呢」更有個性，但又不失甜蜜！」Selina說：「「五月天」這首歌讓我的甜美嗓音發揮得淋漓盡致，歌迷聽了一定可以感受到如戀愛般的甜蜜哦！」

PLAY第三招：人名變歌名 「聽袁惟仁彈吉他」唱出創作人心聲
S.H.E首度【各唱各位】 S-甜美合聲 H-清亮主音 E-個性女RAPPER

「聽袁惟仁彈吉他」這首歌，S.H.E異口同聲地說：「好玩又好聽﹗」這首歌的詞曲和編曲都由一個叫張簡君偉的創作新人一手包辦。張簡君偉曾是袁惟仁小胖老師的鄰居。歌詞說的就是他因為晚上常常隔著牆壁聽袁惟仁彈吉他而激勵了他在音樂創作上的勇氣和努力，進而有感而發寫出這首這麼有趣的歌曲。在網路原創音樂浪潮中，袁惟仁小胖老師無意間聽到這首以自己的名字為歌名的歌曲，覺得這首歌真的很有創意也很好聽，就把這首歌推薦給華研唱片的呂副董，因此唱片公司特別將這首好玩的歌曲收在專輯。由於S.H.E在這張「PLAY」專輯中三人也分別交了創作上的處女作品，同為音樂創作新人，S.H.E在錄音室配唱這首歌的時候也可以深深體會到歌詞中所描寫的創作人的夢想和辛酸。Hebe笑說：「雖然我第一次寫詞就被用了，也沒有像Ella那樣有被退稿的經驗，但是我在唱著這首歌的時候，也被歌詞中的字字句句感染了，相信所有創作人在聽到我們這首歌的時候，一定會心有戚戚焉。但是就象歌詞最後一句提到的一樣，音樂這條路，很辛苦，很寂寞，但是想一想，其實我們不貧窮…」Selina則說：「S.H.E這五年來不管演唱，演戲，甚至現在終於創作了，所付出的種種努力，希望有天S.H.E也可以像小胖老師這樣激勵到更多人，更勇於地去實現自己的夢想﹗」Ella笑說：「到時候就網路上搞不好就會聽到「聽S.H.E彈琴」了，哈哈﹗」

除了詞曲新鮮，是中文樂壇少見的自傳式並充滿勵志意味的作品之外，歌曲演唱的分配方式更是S.H.E前所未有，這首歌讓S.H.E各人的嗓音各負責一個部份，Selina負責主旋律後的甜美合聲，Hebe主唱副歌主旋律，Ella則是全曲擔任說故事的Rapper，S.H.E覺得這樣的分配方式相當新鮮有趣，不過還是開玩笑的說現場演唱時Selina要站到合聲老師的位置，而Ella或Hebe演唱時另一位可能會尷尬地待在台上不知道要幹嘛好！儘管如此三人的表現還是大受好評，Ella被製作人誇為台灣第一女Rapper，而Hebe清亮的嗓音表現的如黃鶯出谷般，Selina甜美的合聲讓合聲老師擔憂多了個競爭者，S.H.E也希望歌迷會喜歡這樣新鮮的嘗試！

PLAY第四招：「謝謝你的溫柔」拼貼五月天招牌名曲「溫柔」
阿信親自推薦 S.H.E、飛輪海兩大人氣團體對唱PLAY

PLAY 過繞口令、團名、人名後，S.H.E接著連五月天的歌都給他PLAY下去，專輯中「謝謝你的溫柔」這首歌就是將五月天招牌名曲-「溫柔」，拼貼成一首新歌，副歌是「溫柔」，主歌的部份由新銳創作人王美蓮所寫，巧妙的將整個歌寫成男女對唱的情歌，歌詞描述女生忘不了舊愛的傷感與無法接受新戀情的歉意，及男生對愛的優柔寡斷，整個歌曲聽來十分感傷。

這樣一首特別的情歌，自然要找特別的對象來唱，因此堪稱情歌對唱卡司陣容最豪華、浩大的男女對唱誕生了，由S.H.E與師弟飛輪海七人一同演唱。對於得過金曲獎的S.H.E來說，來詮釋歌曲中感傷的情緒是易如反掌，但對飛輪海來說卻是壓力很大，因為五月天的「溫柔」對大眾可說是耳熟能詳，如何把這首歌詮釋好可是相當的重要，飛輪海還一度膠著在錄音室裡，後來飛輪海決定以自己最擅長的戲劇方式，將歌曲的感情面表達的淋漓盡致。而五月天的阿信在聽過之後，相當的讚許，覺得飛輪海不但唱出了自己的感覺，S.H.E完美的演唱及合聲讓整首歌更有畫面，也因此特別答應要背書推薦呢！

「藉口」這首歌堪稱新專輯中最KUSO的歌曲，這首歌原來是出自「五月天」的作詞人陳震在網路上發表的歌詞，歌詞將周杰倫的歌名拼貼成一首歌，唱片公司老闆無意間發現，覺得相當有趣，因此請中國話的作曲鄭楠及為S.H.E譜寫過無數經典好歌的左安安聯合譜曲。「藉口」不但歌名就是周杰倫的歌名，連歌詞就是由周杰倫多首歌名組合成的，S.H.E說「選擇以周杰倫的歌名拼貼成歌詞，當然是因為他的歌名大家都耳熟能詳，也歡迎大家來挑戰一下，算一算歌詞裡面總共有幾個歌名喔﹗」

這首歌曲風有別於S.H.E以往曲風，感覺十分的酷，整個曲以RAP為主，此時台灣第一女RAPPER-Ella當仁不讓的說﹕「這首歌很酷﹗RAP當然是由最帥的我來擔任啦，連製作老師都稱讚我有天份，而且我在唱的時候玩得很HIGH，感覺我體內的豪邁氣概整個都HOLD不住了，哈哈﹗」Selina和Hebe說﹕「不好意思，我們聲音本身比較甜美、清亮一點，很多歌的副歌key都定很高，Ella都唱不上去，這次RAP比較多，就讓Ella好好發揮一下，這樣大家可以聽更豐富、更不一樣的S.H.E。」

PLAY第六招：與加拿大S.A唱片公司跨海合作「BOOM」
全新異國風情舞曲 創造前所未有S.H.E性感GIRL STYLE

一向給人活潑可愛的S.H.E甚少有性感元素的歌曲，連S.H.E都覺得之前9張專輯中唯一性感的只有一首ENCORE中的R&B歌曲-「大女人主義」。這回新專輯PLAY不但有一首這樣性感的歌曲，而且還是首舞曲，曲名就叫「BOOM」。

「BOOM」是特別向加拿大的S.A TRACK COMPANY邀歌(S.A TRACK COMPANY旗下有Stacie Orrico(歌曲「stuck」曾獲美國billboard熱門潛力榜第一名)…等歌手)。當S.H.E一聽到「BOOM」的demo時都直呼這也太性感了吧，好想要熱舞一番！S.H.E承認自己的舉手投足不是那麼性感的人，不過音樂實在是太性感，不自主的誘發出她們內心性感的柔媚魅力，將這首異國風情舞曲「Boom」詮釋的性感又帶酷勁。

PLAY第七招：唱而優則寫
S.H.E交出創作處女作S+E寫出友情之歌-「老婆」 HEBE填詞「說你愛我」一字未改

一直希望專輯能有自己創作的S.H.E，這回總算如願，「PLAY」專輯中首度發表自己創作的歌曲，分別是Hebe填詞的「說你愛我」及Ella作曲，Selina填詞的「老婆」。

出道已經近六年的S.H.E，雖然以前就曾經嚐試創作，Selina曾寫過「星星之火」中的一段英文詞，Hebe寫過「你快樂我隨意」中的RAP詞，Ella也都有在寫歌，還在電台發表過(如「牆上的照片」)，但這回專輯因為叫PLAY，唱片公司特別要S.H.E也要進來”PLAY”，要S.H.E在百忙之中交出作品來，讓S.H.E倍感壓力。

不過平常就有在寫歌的Ella率先交歌，因為Ella在拍「花樣少年少女」的時候，劇中好朋友Julia教他一句西班牙的我愛你，讀音是Mahal Kita。Ella:「我聽到這個發音就覺得很有感覺，結果就以這個讀音，在坐車的路途中把歌哼出來了，我果然是天生作曲家哈哈…。」之後慢慢把歌寫得更完整，才交給公司。唱片公司的製作部把收到的曲子都放給Selina和Hebe聽，最後決定Ella曲由Selina填詞，Hebe則選了創作新人宋圭璋及蘇亦承的曲子。

在配唱前，Selina交出了自己的填詞處女作-「老婆」，歌詞描寫的是S.H.E三人的姊妹情誼，原來平時Selina、Hebe和Ella就會互稱「老婆」，不過Selina笑說：「只有Ella，不是老婆，我們都直接叫她陳嘉樺。」HEBE更不留情：「所以Ella這次賺到了！」也這首歌讓S.H.E在錄音室裡唱到哭，「因為歌詞完全是我們真實心情的寫照！」為這首歌譜曲的Ella表示，她不會彈琴，所以所有音樂都在她的腦子裡，只要一有靈感，她馬上就會衝進公司把歌曲旋律錄下來，她謙虛地說：「我沒什麼文采，所以詞交給別人寫就好了。」Selina說歌詞是在她洗澡時候寫出來的，她得意地說：「我光是想到這些詞就已經熱淚盈眶了，看我多麼emotional啊！但是在錄音的時候，被製作人王治平老師和兩位老婆誇獎的時候，一度覺得很害羞，哈哈…」S.H.E說﹕「希望大家聽到這首歌後，能更珍惜身邊的每個人，就是對我們創作最大的鼓勵了﹗」

Hebe害羞地說：「其實我很不好意思把自己的作品給別人看，所以還是趁著施人誠施大哥去上廁所的時候，偷偷把隨身碟插在他的電腦上，然後躲到隔壁房間。」幾分鐘後，Hebe突然聽到施人誠驚呼，緊張的Hebe心想：「慘了！一定是我寫的不好，被退貨。」沒想到隨即又聽到施人誠大叫一聲：「中！」最後這首「說你愛我」的詞一字未改，讓Hebe非常興奮。Hebe說：「這首歌有我過去戀情的心情寫照，等於說我是有放感情去寫的喔，請大家一定要聽聽啦﹗」看著Hebe第一次寫詞就中，Ella和Selina都說﹕「老婆已經找到副業了，各位大天王﹑小天王﹑大天后﹑小天后，歡迎來跟Hebe邀詞喔﹗」

PLAY第八招：拼貼童謠「倫敦大橋垮下來」 S.H.E童玩風新音樂

.H.E以前的專輯中，有不少歌曲拼貼了古典音樂或外國民謠(如REMEMBER、波斯貓、不想長大…等)，這回專輯中S.H.E在「PLAY」專輯中再次把拼貼才華發揮得淋漓盡致，由大馬知名創作人彭學斌寫詞、「中國話」作曲人鄭楠再度發揮實力的「倫敦大橋垮下來」，拼貼知名世界民謠「London Bridge Falling Down」的童玩作品。S.H.E發揮最平易近人的活潑嗓音，唱出了一個女孩對一段已逝去的戀情的執著與依戀-「倫敦大橋垮下來，我也不離開…」。S.H.E說﹕「這首歌很可愛，輕鬆的節奏很像之前的「怎麼辦」那種感覺，而且這歌拼貼了我們最熟悉的童謠，我們唱得很開心，玩得很盡興，希望大家會喜歡啦﹗」

PLAY第九招：陶喆、李泉、袁惟仁 兩岸音樂人跨刀合作
陶喆量聲打造達芙妮年度代言歌曲-「好心情」 製作還教S.H.E唱純正R&B
李泉「再別康橋」迷幻民謠風 袁惟仁配唱指導出S.H.E新民謠唱法

這回專輯中不少歌曲是新人所寫，但是兩岸音樂人也交出了好歌，陶喆為S.H.E達芙妮女鞋創作年度廣告歌曲「好心情Just Be Yourself」，並製作。而對岸知名音樂人李泉也交了一首歐洲迷幻民謠風的「再別康橋」。

繼「落大雨」之後，這回陶喆友情跨刀為S.H.E量身譜曲兼親自製作一首輕快的Folk Rock歌曲「好心情Just Be Yourself」。全曲洋溢一種﹑清新﹑自然的氛圍，歌詞由陶喆好搭檔娃娃老師執筆，描寫都會女生舒服新主張，不隨波逐流，勇敢享受生活，努力愛自己，Just be yourself﹗這首歌也是S.H.E代言的達芙妮女鞋的年度廣告歌曲。

說起跟陶喆首度配唱，三人坦言心情都很緊張，而且很有壓力。Selina表示﹕「因為陶喆是我的偶像，所以看到他就整個小鹿亂撞。而且在他面前我對歌唱顯得很沒自信。但是幸好他人很好很gentleman，一點也沒有想像中那麼嚴苛，結果最後還是達到了他的要求。」Hebe說﹕「我以為之前已經在演唱會上秀過一段打鼓的表演，對節奏的掌握相當有信心，可是他卻可以很一針見血地點出我節奏上的毛病，真的讓我進步很多，也學到很多。」Ella則表示自己在尾音的表現上面受到陶喆很大的啟發﹕「他讓我們發現到有時候我們在尾音的掌握上太過制式化了，以致于很容易被局限住，陪完這首歌之後，我才發現我自己其實可以很伸展自如地唱出純正的美式R&B，哈哈﹗」

「再別康橋」是由內地知名創作人李泉作曲，文雅填詞，這首歌最特別的是取材自詩人徐志摩的悽美愛情故事，曲風有種歐洲迷幻的感覺。擔任這首歌的製作人和配唱製作人就是「聽袁惟仁彈吉他」的主角袁惟仁老師。距離上一次和小胖老師合作的「Encore」專輯已經隔了3年，Selina坦言心情有一點緊張：「因為胖哥是一個說話很直接的製作老師，自己歌唱的弱點常常就這麼被他指出，但是也因為這樣同時也發現自己最強的優勢在哪裡。Ella說：「這首歌是屬於耐聽型，越聽越好聽，而且因為歌詞很多字都很拗口而且也很有深度，感覺上很多字眼的發音都要小心，因為都是平常很少會講到的字，而且這首歌的唱法很特別，有種帶著優雅及民謠的感覺，唱時情緒要收斂，而且要有氣質，和我們以前的唱法真的很不一樣。」剛剛結束倫敦巴黎充電之旅Hebe則一看到歌詞就很興奮地跟兩位老婆炫耀：「你看你看﹗歌詞裡面的石板街道﹑雨後水窪教堂﹑圖書館的石雕﹑嘆息橋…等等我真的都有去過耶，所以唱這首歌的時候，我是整個人陷入旅行的回憶裡面，很想再去放假啦﹗」

S.H.E中國話MV內地取景拍攝 大陣仗斥資3百萬
烏鎮古城跳嘻哈 安吉竹林打太極「中國話」MV貫穿古今東西

「中國話」歌曲既已將中西合璧，那MV要如何拍出這樣古今東西融合的感覺呢？由於考量是否要在內地拍攝該MV，因此找近年來在內地廣告邀約不斷、拍過S.H.E第一首MV「戀人未滿」的導演-馬宜中來執導。導演在聽過「中國話」後，在歌曲中感覺到中國文化的博大精深，因此決定要赴內地拍攝，而且拍出中西合璧、古今東西融合的感覺。而什麼樣的感覺是東西方的代表呢？當然就是中國意境的場景、最具代表著東方的少林武僧、太極拳，與代表西方流行的嘻哈舞蹈，有了S.H.E的表演再加上這幾個元素的結合，方能表達出歌曲的概念！於是唱片公司斥資近300萬，陣仗之大堪稱是近年來台灣少有的MV大製作呢！由於內容浩大，導演比照廣告規格，找來5個製片，分別進行找場景及選角的工作，最後場景部份選在拍攝『臥虎藏龍』中竹林的”安吉”、及劉若英拍攝『似水年華』的”烏鎮”；武僧部份則選出8位自小學武的少林武僧，另外還有10多位的太極拳班、13位的來自世界各地的舞蹈老師。

拍片第一天，動員超過100名的工作人員，大隊人馬拉到內地建城超過1300年，有「中國最後的枕水人家」之稱的知名古城浙江烏鎮拍攝取景。S.H.E換上金色帶嘻哈元素的服裝，在古色古香的古城中起武/舞。一場大群人馬在衙門前廣場起武/舞的戲，讓S.H.E見識到少林武僧的利害，話說S.H.E邊唱邊跳，來自各國的嘻哈舞蹈老師也在後面跟著一起跳舞，而少林武僧和太極拳班則各打各的拳，忽然間，Ella眼尾瞄到到後方有位武僧居然把四肢折啊折的，接著還用頭頂在地上，Ella雖然心裡嚇了一跳，但強作鎮定，拍攝完後，全場掌聲如雷，Selina和Hebe還不知發生什麼事，Ella才告訴她們說剛才拍攝時，後面有位少林師兄把身體折啊折的還頭頂地，太利害了！後來嘻哈舞蹈老師與少林武僧還當場來個BATTLE賽，武僧一個空中後空翻已經讓大家咋舌、掌聲連連，合嘻哈舞蹈老師的地板動作-插秧，武僧做來更挺更直，讓S.H.E直呼「少林功夫，好耶！！！」

拍攝第二天，S.H.E換上上海訂作的太極拳服，來到了拍攝「臥虎藏龍」竹林的場景-安吉。三人一身粉紅色太極拳服，足上蹬著上鏽花鞋，可愛的裝扮在竹林中更顯亮眼，三人還打定主意要把這套可愛太極拳服帶回家！而S.H.E在走上竹林的路途上，居然聽到保安叮嚀了一句「小心竹筍」，讓S.H.E當場笑翻了，Selina直說「太有趣了，爬山路時大家都會說『小心階梯』，沒想到這裡居然是說『小心竹筍』。」而這句話的來由是因為竹林的地上充滿了小竹筍，不小心踢壞了可是要賠的，因此保安人員才會提醒大家「小心竹筍」！竹林中要拍攝的就是S.H.E打太極拳的部份，以前S.H.E雖然有跟任爸學過一兩招，但事隔已久，三個小妮子早就忘記了，導演請來太極班的老師一個動作一個動作的教，只見S.H.E表情嚴肅的練習，連導演都說認識他們5年多了，這是她們最嚴肅認真的時候。等到練了幾輪之後，S.H.E說好了可以拍了，不過整個拍攝過程，還是看的出S.H.E的努力與緊張，因為動作是三個人一起作，如果誰慢了就會不一樣了，一邊打拳也讓S.H.E一邊體認出另一種博大精深的中華文化！

我看到一下这一部分，真的顿时呆住。
吴宗宪就很坦诚地说他对蔡旻佑的首张专辑非常不满，用了一个 “逊” 字形容。
单单的一个字，无法形容，简直就是 “杀”。
我也不知道是 “杀” 什么，总之给我的感觉就是很 “杀”。

有时候，人必须跟随大众的要求，期望，而不是跟着自己的想法，希望。

“绿蛋糕”更酷！！！“我非常喜欢吃，来新加坡就好像来到了天堂。新加坡有非常多美食，譬如说：海南鸡饭……我昨天才去吃，真的是一级棒，就像这样……”边说边竖起拇指。“噢……我去了一家古巴餐厅，那家餐厅的食物非常好吃，我听说还有绿蛋糕。”

“绿蛋糕很酷，我听说有新加坡的歌迷跑到台湾去送机，他们买了绿蛋糕给我。我在飞机上吃了，觉得很好吃。但是绿蛋糕最好不要放太久，不然会干掉。我离开新加坡之前还会去买绿蛋糕，它很潮湿（？！）软软地，很好吃。”哗……竟然吃出心得来了？！但是hor……“绿蛋糕”，是什么来的？！经过记者“明查暗访”，多处打听，原来是让蔡旻佑赞不绝口、酷毙了的“绿蛋糕”其实就是--“Pandan Cake”（班兰蛋糕）。要知道此“绿蛋糕”不仅酷，还非常受海外艺人喜爱。之前香港艺人宣萱来新拍戏就买了不少回去；近来房祖名来新更是大采购，狂买10盒！！

《19》要你“听”好！新专辑实验性高，12首歌曲风多元，包括：嘻哈、摇滚、抒情……曲子全由他一手包办，完全不假他人之手。

周杰伦有好朋友方文山助他一臂之力；蔡旻佑也有好同学“周炜杰”助阵。《19》里面大部分歌曲都由周炜杰填词。
蔡旻佑说：“《19》是个大拼盘，用了很多不同的元素，如：摇滚、嘻哈、爵士、舞曲……主是要让大家知道Evan Yo 可以做这么多东西，Evan Yo是一个音乐的代表。”“大家可能觉得我还没有找到自己的定位，但是大家听我的第二张专辑，就会知道Evan Yo就是Evan Yo，他有一条很明显的路。以后的专辑我会选择一个比较强烈的风格，再往那个定位走。” 初生之犊的干劲表露无疑。

创作灵感来自……“电影。我很喜欢看英雄式的电影，比如说：《蜘蛛人》、《超人》、《X-Men》、《蝙蝠侠》、《超人特工队》……都很好看。 从电影里面我会看到很多影像，再把这些影像转换成音乐。”

Unlike last time when Fahrenheit came to Singapore and Ella and Wuzun came to Tampines Mall which is freaking near my house.

Sigh. Never mind. At least this time I chiong both events. 3 cheers for Celine! Ahaha!

Dora reached first and bought the first edition album cos the repackaged one was out out stock. Sadded.

At least better than nothing lah.

When I reached there the queue was until the movie ticketing place. Haha.

It was so long I tell you.

Super duper long for a new singer.

Im shocked okay.

Then me and Dora decided to go nearer to the stage which is besides Macs.

The stage is like freaking small okay.

Never mind.

So we forfeited the queue.

In the end, the security guards sort of compressed the queue and people who were originally queuing near the ticketing booth queued near the stage.

Zzz.

So we went back to queue and forfeited the chance to see Evan perform! Ah!

And we didn’t get to see him perform at all cos of SOME limitations in our height.

Whatever.

And the nice ‘curtain’ like thingy of the tentage sheltering the stage was directly blocking our view.

Even my 800x digital zoom video camera did not help cos of the stupid curtain.

Even if I zoom, I will zoom in the curtain.

Never mind.

Evan sang 3 songs. Haha.

Fewer then yesterday so never mind if I didn’t get to see. Lol.

Today's the day.

Went with Nicole to Evan Yo's LIVE Mini Concert at Cineleisure Kbox K Union.

We went after school and I just realised 111 can bring us there in 30mins!

And, and, and, directly after Queenstown is like Tanglin?! O.O

Singapore is really small. Hehe.

Back to topic.

We reached there around 2plus 3.

BUT when we came out from the lift, there was already a queue with more than 20 people.

WAH my hopes were like dashed. No more photo-taking with Evan. Sadded. Ah!

We decided to go down to Long Johns since we are not the first 20 anymore. Sobs.

We went up around 4 again and sat down. Yay!

OMG. I sound retarded ending with one word for each sentence. Lol.

Anyway, back to topic again.

We had totally nothing to do so we decided to eh, come out with the proposal for the new CCA we have been talking about since don’t know when.

Haha.

And we are quite good at writing proposal okay? I’m so gonna join this CCA IF it is approved. *Prays.

I shall not reveal what CCA this is. Hehe.

The queue was until the place where the lifts are and apparently people should be smart enough to leave a space outside the lift for people to cross.

And, and, and, there is this BIG fan [ and I do mean in terms of size xD ] who just came out of the lift and sat down – in front of us.

And I swore I will whack that person if we are the first 21st and 22nd Kbox members to reach.

She’s lucky. Lol.

Then suddenly, everyone in front of us started to stand up. OMG!

And we thought we could enter already. Cos my legs were erm, aching?

Then, I realised Evan came out to the stage inside K Union to practise his keyboard! OMG!

Lol. And me and Nicole had to like take turns to move in front to see him bacuse we still need to queue.

Sigh. That’s the bad thing about going for these events in pairs only. Haha.

And, and, and, I bet they did not check if the first twenty people who reached are Kbox members.

So unfair man. I thought only the first 20 Kbox members can take photos with Evan leh.

And the people in front of us entered using Evan’s album and not Kbox membership. Stupid.

Never mind. Im a very reasonable fan you see. No obsession. Haha.

And one of the person-in-charge is so weird. He told us to sit at the 6th row in the middle when there is space at the 3rd row at the left side -.-

Luckily I asked him man, then he realised eh, got space leh.

Lol! 3rd row is so near can. Will die one. Haha.

Anyway, I shall start talking about Evan. Cos I realised I crapped for the previous lines. Hehe.

Overall, his performance – thumbs up. OMG!

I didn’t know his LIVE is flawless lah!

And he looks so much nicer in person.

Haha. I was sleepily taking the bus today.

Firstly, I boarded a bus which is a loop bus service.

There were many Coral Sec students in the bus already.

Then, after I sat down, an auntie came and sat beside me.

She asked " Where did you board ah? "

And I said " Buona Vista. "

She replied " Orh, cos I did not know where you board. "

And I was like O.O

Then, after pondering about what she just said, I realised something.

Apparently, she thought I was from Coral Sec cos we obviously have similar uniforms with the same colour [ blue and white ].

So actually, she was trying to ask where students from " my school " board the bus before the bus even reached the interchange.

Apparently, she does not know that this is a loop service.

And apparently, she seems shocked by my answer as my answer reveals that the bus we are taking comes from Buona Vista -.-

And apparently, she does not know where is Buona Vista.

But, the moral of the story is that we should keep awake and alert on buses.

Well, the Hanakimi books are running out real fast. Adn the one with the calendar has officially ran out. There are only 8 of the other book left in Singapore. Great. How great. Its that great. This feeling is so great I tell you.

I feel desperate.

I just found out that yesterday's 娱乐百分百 is about Hanakimi. And the people who went are Chun, Jiro, Senior Nan [ lol i dunno his english name ] and Ella, i think. Well, Im seriously not fated to watch this. Cos I went to Heartland Mall with Grace and Felicia. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.

And I realised I will miss Hanakimi episodes 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 on Channel U. Zzz. And I will return to Singapore just in time to watch the final episode. As if I will understand what's going on then. Looks like the only way out is to buy the DVD. I don't like watching shows on Youtube. Haha.

Well, this song is simply fabulous. It gives people a fresh impression as there are few songs of this genre now in the chinese music industry. Lol. Sounds so serious. Haha. One word to describe this song -- fabulous -- a fabulous song and a fabulous voice makes a perfect and splendid match :)

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Its a holiday today! Great thanks to our dear Sec 4 2006 SAP cohort.

I'm not looking forward to CNY this year. Sigh. All because of the DEAR Geography project. And not forgetting the other projects from many other subjects. And this Geography project is 50 marks, which is equal to a test cos we dont have a test for CA1. Let me prepare to get a B for Geography again. Lalala.

Am super bored now. Though I have lots of homework-assignments-projects to do, I just cant make myself do them at this moment.

So, I went to browse through blogs. Haha. My juniors' blogs. And I realised the bonding among each of the levels is quite well done -- I mean very well done. Haha. "Well done" is not a very suitable word to describe but my brain is half-dead now, so, yeah. Haha.

And I suddenly thought of what to give for farewell gifts. Oh well, its a secret. Shush =)

Today's Valentine's Day [ Friendship Day ]. Haha. And Im very happy cos people are happy when they received my small tiny handmade gifts. Haha. Especially ALL my juniors. Looks like they appreciate things more. Haha. I was super happy and happy and happy while giving out the lime-green and silver "hearts" on the bus. The silver ones ran out first! Lol. They have the same taste as me! Haha. Yay. And surprisingly, I got enough to give the junior boys team. They were like so shocked or rather surprised that I can do such a thing. Lol. Oh and the 'thing' refers to the hearts. Yupps. Haha. Boys are boys.

The thing which made my day was the match against Ngee Ann Sec ---- Our arch rival. Lol. Last year we lost to them and could not enter Nationals. Sigh. But we won them 4-1 today! OMG. And I won my first match! And I was so happy + scared [ while competing ] + super happy that I won, and we have a 99% chance of getting into Nationals, that I cant help but walk back to the 'audience seats' breaking down. Unbelievable yeah? I was seriously very very happy. Before my match I was so scared that I felt like breaking down anytime. Cos the matches before mine were very competitive and the points were quite close. And I seriously screamed my lungs out when Yan Lin and Cheryl won! It was the decisive match.

I really put in 101% effort in my match. Seriously. Ah! Ah! Ah! The feeling of winning this match with so many of my teammates is beyond description. I could hear everyone's cheers while I was playing and I sincerely wanna thank ALL of them. It drove me on. Thank you!

I shall name the people I wanna thank for giving such a memorable Valentine's Day, whether directly or indirectly. There is no form of ranking. Just random =)

Once again, a great big thank you to those who really made my day! Especially the team. Your " Thank You "s and " Jiayou "s really helped! *BOWS =)

Once again, Im freaking tired. Just finished Physics test yesterday. And it was PHEW~ after that. Went to make class jersey too. We went Aljunied and realised the place is uber ulu and dark and ... ... Scary. Lol. Especially when we took the lift and end up on a floor which has no one and is DARK. So I called the person in charge and he said that he is not there. I went all the way to Aljunied and he tells me he is not in. When am I gonna finish making the jersey? Sian. Den after much thought, we decided to go to Wah Mee in Paya Lebar. Amanda's brother came along too.

There was no brown and the blue is yucky. So we are down with black. Though I still liked lime green and yellow. Lol. I'll make one for myself in future. Haha.

And for today, I woke up feeling super nervous cos I felt that I may get trashed 11-0 for all three rounds. Sigh. Though today's match against CCH Main is not a crucial one, anyone who is human will not wanna lose 11-0. Sigh. And i didnt, to my surprise. Lol. I lost overall 1-3! Haha. Omg. I won one round! Quite unexpected. And that round which I won was SO close. I won by like 12-10. Haha. Yupps. But overall, we lost 2-3. But it was quite an achievement cos we lost to this group by 0-5 before. Haha. And no one got trashed! But its like SO close. Overall, the team lost 2-3. Just one match difference we would have won. Well, its all by luck. Cos I played with the not-as-strong-as-her-teammates- opponent while Yuting played against a strong one. We should have exchanged man. So she will be able to win the first opponent. Well, its over so never mind. SO close :(

LA test is over too! 4 more to go. Jiayou! Haha. I pray for the teams to enter Nationals.

Yesterday was the Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons meeting. Yeah. And we were given the schedule for the whole year as in what we are supposed to do lah. And this year they added many crap things. Haha. Oops. Not exactly crap but erm.. Yah. And towards the end, the front row people (including us) were like so HIGH. Lol. Cos Mrs Phua was asking us for suggestions for anything regarding the school, from campus to events. Yupps. And me and nicole IMMEDIATELY suggested a talentime --- called Give 6. Lol. Ahahahah. Nope thats not the main point. We suggested that there should be no restrictions as to how many people can there be in a group. U can group with people from other classes too! And there should not be any theme like Retro or stuff like that. And it should STRICTLY be a singing competition. Lol. For CONFIDENT people, they can sing and dance to show their prowess =.= Lol. And we were saying we wanna be coordinators. Den i will be in charge of inviting stars to perform during Grand Finals of Talentime. Lol. How realistic! Haha.

And and and, Yu Ting JUST informed me that Shi En has cancelled her trip to Hong Kong. Yippee!! And her family is going along without her or else they will lose thousand dollars plus. Haha. And she will be staying over at Lineatte's house. So cool! One problem solved. 13 more to go! Lol.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Yu Ting =) I've said that like 3 times already. Oops. ><

There is CCA today. Yes. Yes. And something grave happened.

Shi En just told our teacher today that she is going for an overseas trip and will be missing the last two East Zone matches. Teacher became like super fed up. And guess what he said? If Shi En is not coming for those two matches, she can totally forget about participating in other competitions from then on in DHS. ?!?!?!?!?

It seriously is quite unreasonable cos i think it is too harsh a "punishment" for her. Furthermore she is a KEY player. and i repeat. KEY PLAYER. Without her, we can totally forget about entering Nationals k. No joke.

Moreover, teacher also said that even if the coach puts her name down for competition, he will still pull Shi En out. Wad the. And he sounds quite firm. Firm as in firm stand.

Poor Shi En. SIGH. SIGH. And we are attempting to shang4 su4 tmr morning. Hope it works. And we got valuable advice from Chinyee. Haha. She asked us to give our best shot if Shi En really cannot participate. SIGH. *Prays.

Wow, it's February alrd. Time flies. Anyway, its once again the Angel-Mortal game season. Lol. 4I started one and well, I cant reveal my mortal here though I doubt she will come to this blog. Lol. Its better to be safe then sorry. Haha. Oh, and after a long wait, there is finally news from my angel! YAY. And he/she gave me Stitch and Angel [ Stitch's partner. Not Lilo -.- ] Lol. Very cute. I do love cuddlies sometimes =)





And i seriously forgot that I have an angel cos I was always busy thinking of what to give my dear and poor mortal. Sorry! Really busy these few days. I promise a nice gift on Valentines Day =)



Forgot to mention that I have taken up the roles of a few messengers. Lol.



I also started table tennis one on Wed. Think it will be fun man. We did not include the Sec1s though. Maybe next time cos they seriously have many ppl. Haha. Ohya. And quite a few of us "played cheat". Lol. We picked our mortals almost three times each cos we were not satisfied. Haha. And i got quite a nice mortal, thanks to dear Grace. Haha. She has golden hands.



Competition is nearing. Yeah. Hope we can get into the Nationals. Jiayou! And Shi En cant make it for the last two matches as she is going overseas. Sigh. Poor Lineatte. Maybe she will play singles on those days while me and Grace take doubles. Yupps. And our competition site is a new one! Hope there is air-con. Haha.



Me, Amanda, June and Junwen went to Queensway Shopping Centre to make 4I class jersey yesterday. And we spent quite a long time. Sigh. I reached home at about 7 plus. And i was dead beat. Especially with my aching hands since Mon. Finally, we chose a royal blue and white Adidas jersey which costs $26 and we had to call everyone from 4I to confirm if they are willing to pay. It was seriously tedious as we had to copy names and jersey numbers, call people, negotiate with the shop owner, choose a right jersey colour combination out of the available, decide on sizes, ask for availability. It is not easy ok? It never is. So people should not complain. Or ask us to lower the price. You have to pay the price for quality. Do u think we want to pay so much too? And not everything we want is available. Especially a gold and white base jersey. Be satisfied with whatever is available. Furthermore it has to be done before CNY. Not procrastination. And lastly, NOT EVERYONE WILL HAVE THE SAME VIEWS, SO THERE WILL ALWAYS BE UNHAPPY PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT IS CHOSEN. Nothing is easy. Learn to compromise. It's our last year together afterall.

It's hard to tolerate some people sometimes. Really hard. And I really tried. Some things can't be said.

Anyway, I seriously hope to be able to make 4I class jersey by Thursday. I HOPE.

Wah! Nearly lost my phone yesterday. Cos my pocket was too big. Luckily I took the initiative to look back at my seat after i got up. Phew. I love my phone =)

We got our new jersey too. Blue one. Butterfly brand. Its like we are advertising free-ly for them. Lol. And Im totally not looking forward to competition. Cos obviously I wont win lah. It all depends on the other 3 matches. And it will be totally embarrassing to announce it during flag raising. And i just realised competition sort of clashes with physics and maths common tests. OOPS.

Anyway. Today is the 25th Jan and its our dearest Jiahui aka KAH HWEE's birthday! I seriously did not know today was 25th Jan until yesterday. Looks like im still living in the 13th Jan days. Lol. So I decided, I mean have to, only pass JH her present soon. Oops. Haha. I know she wont mind =) and Im still thinking of what to buy cos I decided to buy the whole year's presents at one go. Power leh~~

Back to yesterday's Project Superstar females preview. Haha. Carrie's singing as usual is very nice and Averil surprisingly did a wonderful rendition of S.H.E's Superstar. Well, seems like people work better without the presence of stress.

Just uploaded the crystal clear version of Carrie's Chu Mo. Still in the midst of listening to it everyday. It really gives me goosebumps =)

Special Guests in PSS2 Grand Finals

The male and female winner will only be revealed after 11.30pm tomorrow night (Thurs Jan 18) but plans are already underway for the Project SuperStar 2 Grand Final to be held at Singapore Indoor Stadium on Sunday Feb 4, 2007.

We spoke to the show’s Managing Executive Producer Goh Gjong Hoa and Producer/Executive Producer Lim Shiong Chiang to get the lowdown on the Grand Final, and here’s what we gathered, presented in digestible nuggets of info.

Competition Format:

The two finalists will go through five segments of competition where they will each perform one song of each of the following music genre: rock, unplugged, hip-hop, jazz/bossa nova and a personally selected pop song. The rock and hip-hop segments will require the finalist to even dance. Except for the hip-hop segment, the finalists will be accompanied by a ‘live’ band.

The segment Judges' Killer Songs from last year (where the judges write one song for each finalist to specifically hit at the finalist’s weakness) has been taken out because the competition format this year is different from last year’s, with the main focus on the finalists’ capabilities in handling different music genres.

Other Performers:

Season 2’s remaining 22 contestants will also be putting on a good show for you. The 11 males and 11 females will each perform a medley of songs. “We’ll keep the public in suspense for now, but we guarantee they’re all good songs,” Djong Hoa told us assuredly.

Special Guests:

Malaysia’s latest successful musical export Gary Cao Ge, and the overall champions of Project SuperStar Singapore - Kelvin Tan Wei Lian, Project SuperStar Malaysia - Johnson Wee and Project SuperStar Vietnam - Phuong Trinh will grace the event and perform their hit songs.

Approximately half of the Top 24 contestants from Project SuperStar 1 will also be present. Confirmed attendees include Sing Chew Sin Huey, Hoh Wei Jian, Silver Ang, Jason Tan, Chia Wei Choong, Wendy Toh, Ruth Chua, Sugianto, William Tanoto, Chanel Pang, Sandra Ter, Lai Li Jun, Raymond Chua, Darryl Yong are confirmed attendees.

Campus SuperStar's Ng Chee Yang, Teresa Tseng, Renfred Ng, Geraldine See, Ng Imm Khim, Clara Tan, Hong Yu Yang, Chen Yi Yuan, Alejandro Hou and Yvonne Chua will also be the cheerleaders for the Top 2 finalists Daren Tan and Tan Diya. They will be under the (cheer)leadership of Charlyn Lin and Sim Yun Ying (for Diya), and Lee Teng and Pornsak (for Daren).

MediaCorp artistes Bryan Wang, Kang Chengxi, Dasmond Koh, Wu Luoyi and Nat Ho will be there as well.

Costumes:

Specially-designed and decorated outfits will be prepared for the two finalists for each different music segment. It’ll look more like a concert than just a competition, Shiong Chiang promised.

Results:

The results will be based entirely on votes from the public, though the five Project SuperStar judges (Billy Koh, Roy Li, Anthony Png, Dawn Yip and Li Weisong) will be present to dish out comments and also select the better finalist in each of the music segments.

Prizes:

The overall champion will receive a recording contract from Warner Music. Unlike last year, whether the first runner-up (or other contestants) will be offered contracts will be up to recording companies’ decision.

Admission tickets will be distributed free to the public; so if you want to lay your hands on them, send a self-addressed and stamped envelope to the following address:

Admission will be granted on the spot if there are empty seats in the Stadium, or if response is overwhelming, seats that are partially blocked will also be opened.

Red Carpet:

The must-have to any big event will begin at 6.45pm but fans are advised to stake their claim from 6.15pm. Though knowing you fervent supporters, you’ll be there earlier.

Laying their delicate feet on the carpet (located at the entrance to the Stadium, where last year’s Red Carpet event was held) will be the special guests mentioned above plus local MediaCorp artistes. Exactly who, we’re still not yet informed.

Well. Seems like a rocky day today. Haha. Rocky as in un-smooth. Yupps.

Firstly, the fifth bus did not turn up in the morning. So we took a taxi and i shared a cab with Grace, Fel and Joanna. We walked from the taxi stand to White Sands and then back to the main road. Lol. Where we got a nice taxi with a nice taxi driver. Haha. He drove at top speed and we were NOT late for school. Unbelievable isn't it? Haha.

Secondly, Mr Yap said that Edwin got a perfect score for maths test?!?! Hmm. Quite unbelievable to me. Didn't know he was a maths pro. Whatever.

Thirdly, we have to write a chinese composition today which I already drafted yesterday. And my draft is seriously but a draft. Lol. And the requirement is 3 pages. No joke man. THREE PAGES! I managed to write 3 1/2 pages in the end. And i took about 3 hours altogether. Many thanks to my dear draft. Cos god knows how long I would have taken without my draft. Lol.

Fourthly, I seriously do not know what is the use of my mum having her own handphone. No replies to my call and message though the ringing volume is MAX. If I ever need help, I'll think twice before calling her. Haha.

PSS2 First runner-up: Carrie and Nat

It’s final. Despite strong showings by the top four contestants, only one guy and one girl will make it to the Project SuperStar 2 Grand Final held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Sunday Feb 4, and it was not Carrie and Nathaniel.

The top four put up a tough fight as they vied for the two coveted spots in the Grand Final, and it was a close call to make. The judges had weighed in by awarding higher points to Carrie Yeo (an average of 39.7 points against Tan Diya’s 37.5 points) and Daren Tan (an average of 39 points against Nat Tan’s 37 points), but the voters did not seem to fully agree. They crowned the ‘double Ds and Tans’ – Diya and Daren, as the female and male winner respectively.

Carrie

To be eliminated just when she was one step away from competing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium must have been a poignant moment for Carrie, who had been eliminated earlier and only made it back to the competition through the Revival Round. After all, Carrie is a fan of the acoustics in the Indoor Stadium.
"I do have some regrets. We are just one step away from the Indoor Stadium, and the acoustics there should be very good. So, to get to sing there would be very shiok," said Carrie, showing signs of disappointment.
Although Carrie apparently lost on popularity in the females’ final, what she did not know was that she had won just the week before. According to Paul Chan, Vice-President for Branding & Promotions of MediaCorp TV, Carrie had the highest points among the girls after the judges’ scores and the number of votes were combined in the week when Averil Chan was eliminated (Semi-Final 3). Previously, Diya had been leading the pack every week. This week, Diya’s overall points from judges’ scores and public votes accounted for 62.1% while Carrie received 37.9%.

"I have regrets, but I don’t feel sore about losing," said Carrie.

Now, we have heard plenty of "I feel happy for [insert name of winner]" from runners-up of any competition, so it was quite refreshing to hear Carrie graciously acknowledging her "complicated feelings" towards the result. She said she was not upset because Diya won but because she herself lost.

"I felt like having a good cry because after all, I was still eliminated. However, there was no time to cry because we had to do interviews and go back to the office for meetings. But I still cried when I got home," shared Carrie, who was dressed in a very simple combination of T-shirt and jeans.

After the results were announced, Carrie appeared to be taking it in her stride. However, tears welled up in her eyes when the farewell video clip was shown.

"I don’t like to cry in front of others, because I was not totally devastated that I was eliminated. I was also happy and satisfied that I reached the Top 2, so I tried to stop the tears from flowing out," she said.

Oh, but Carrie is still happy for Diya for making it into the Grand Final. In fact, she will not only be helping Diya with her song choice but will be sending text messages to friends to ask them to buy Diya’s album."I will also buy a few copies myself," Carrie said with a laugh. See, that’s what friends are for.
